I have big bacon-related plans for the weekend, and since my readers have demanded more bacon, I thought I'd share.
First, tonight I will be hosting a "Breakfast for Dinner" slumber party.
Normally a group of friends and I try a new restaurant every Friday night, but due to some cash flow problems in the group, we'll be whipping up some eggs, bacon (pork and turkey varieties), and waffles in my apartment.
Then we will drink beer and wine in my apartment. And probably giggle a lot.
On Sunday, Stephanie and I will be making brunch and unleashing BACON VODKA on the world. The featured drink with be a Bloody Mary with a crispy strip of bacon in it instead of a celery stalk.

Really, you need to branch out with the bacon idea. You see, the Irish know a little about bacon too. They do not throw out their bacon grease. Oh. No. They fry potato bread, soda bread, eggs and tomatoes in it so everything has that bacony goodness throughout. If pressed, they will fry ordinary bread in it as well.
I am shuddering with envy Emily. Shuddering I say, shuddering.
