I loooooooooove Punch Pizza. It's bordering on obsession. The ingredients are super fresh, the crust is amazing, and they can make you a pizza in like 90 seconds. And they make it with love. They even NAME their wood-fired ovens.
Sometimes, usually when I'm sitting in my office pretending to work, I will just fixate on their pizza, thinking about what it tastes like, and I NEED to eat some right then and there or I will DIE.
I'm actually thinking about it right now, but I thought I'd try writing about it instead of eating yet another pizza (which I will probably do at some point today anyway.)
My latest obsession is the Mimi, one of their sauceless pies. They make you a plain crust, spear a clove of garlic on a fork and vigorously rub it into that crust*, and give you a big cup of tomatoes, basil and the best damn buffalo mozzarella I've ever had all in what I believe is garlic butter or something of equal fatty/garlicky deliciousness. You then take it home (or eat it there, but I like to eat my pizza in front of the TV), add the toppings, and maybe see God.
Aw hell, I'm getting a pizza.
*Word of warning: if you get this pizza to go, your car WILL smell like garlic for several days. This will remind you of how good the pizza was, and you will need to get more.

Whenever visitors to our fair city start talking smack about how we don't know good pizza, I take them to the Punch in Highland. That usually shuts them up.
I feel the way about Nala Pak the way you do about Punch. Just typing the name is making me NEED their lunch buffet. Sigh.
I second the notion of Punches being awesome. When Im in the mood for that type pizza, it so hits the spot. Whats the name of the oven at the punches near you?
Trianon is my oven of choice.
